Scholarships

        

The Nepal America Sociocultural Exchange Society, Inc. USA (NEPALI GHAR) awards scholarships to the Nepalese Student to attend college on the basis of a competitive process that may consider financial need, academic achievement, and demonstrated volunteer commitment in the community and how has this prepared them for college. Scholarships are awarded based on Scholarship Committee review recommendations. The scholarship will be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for full time course for Colleges in the United States.


Scholarship Amount:

Nepali Ghar will provide scholarships of $2,000 annually, splitting between two eligible students. Each Student will receive $ 1,000 in total to support first year of their college. Student will receive one $ 500 check for the first semester and second check of $ 500 for second semester within their first year of college.


Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a new scholarship, all students must meet the following eligibility criteria

  • Recently graduated from any of the High School within Colorado State.
  • Must be planning to enroll in college or university in the fall semester as a full time.
  • Demonstrated Volunteer Commitment to the Community.
  • Have met a minimum cumulative grade of 75% or (3.0 GPA equivalent)
  • Received written acceptance from your selected college(s) – copy of the acceptance must be included in the application.
  • Completed and submitted application materials by the post marked deadline date.
