Nepali Ghar organizes and celebrate beautiful festival “HOLI – Festival of Colors” each year to welcome warm and joyful spring season as well as to gather community in one place to share good spirit of life.

HOLI is a Hindu spring festival, also known as the “Festival of Colors” or “festival of love”. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring and end of winter. On the festival day, people meet each other, play, laugh, repair broken relationships by forgiving bitter circumstances and move forward with sharing love and affection within family, friends and community. People spend the day smearing colored powder all over each other’s face, throwing colored water at each other, dancing under water sprinklers to celebrate the festival.

Nepali Ghar has announced this year’s HOLI celebration as follows:

  • Date : Sunday – March 12, 2017
  • Location : 218 N. 6th Ave., Brighton, CO 80601 (www.smcccc.org)
  • Time : 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Fully vegetarian lunch will be provided.

Nepali Ghar would like to invite all the community congregations to join the event and celebrate joyful moment and spread love and affection to all the human being.
